
Richard King teaches the history of philosophy in Berne. He is the author of Aristotle on life and death, Aristotle and Plotinus on memory and of the forthcoming study “The lord a lord, the minister a minister, the father a father, the son a son.” Roles and virtues in Plato, Aristotle, the Mencius and the Xunzi, as well as of numerous articles on Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus and pre-Qin Chinese philosophy. He has also edited various collections of essays, including Common to body and soul and The good life and conceptions of life in early China and Graeco-Roman Antiquity.
